Does anyone else see that there are alot of similarities with the show Weeds and Gone with the wind?

Of course the time and setting is different but watching the show and then reading Gone with the Wind there are alot of similarities about them. The fact that both women have been widowed and the fact that both women hurt the ones they love the most and it just seems that they're both on a downward spiral..
