Can i use Jergens Lotion Ultra healing for down there after shaving?

Im a girl and i just started shavin down there and i was wonder if i can you jergens lotion ultra healing for down there because i get really bad razor burn every time!! and would it be better to do upward strokes or downward strokes!! And can i get advice on how to shav too?
